SomnoFit-S / -B is the most advanced thermoformable mandibular advancement device on the market. It is the result of over 10 years of experience in the field of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

The SomnoFit-S / -B device has a patented flexible structure that allows optimal adaptation of the tray to the width of the jaw.

THERMOFORMABLE AND ULTRA-SMALL VOLUME

The volume of SomnoFit-S is reduced by 30% compared to our SomnoFit device and most thermoformable anti-snoring devices. For users with a large jaw, the SomnoFit-B model, equipped with the same technology as the SomnoFit-S, will be the ideal choice.

HOW DOES THE SOMNOFIT-S / -B DEVICE WORK?

During sleep, the device advances the lower jaw by a few millimeters. This forward movement clears the throat and facilitates airflow during breathing. This clinically proven principle has been very effective in reducing snoring and sleep apnea.

INDICATIONS

Mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (medical consultation recommended). CONTRAINDICATIONS

Wearing a full or partial removable dental prosthesis. Pain in the jaw joint. Loose, unstable teeth, upper or lower jaw with fewer than 10 teeth. Under 18 years of age. Teeth grinding (bruxism).

HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF YOUR DEVICE?

We offer two sizes of devices:

The SomnoFit-S (standard) device:

For small and medium-sized jaws. When in doubt, choose this standard size. The SomnoFit-B (large size) device:

If you have a narrow, small, or normal jaw, it is advisable to use the SomnoFit-S device. If your jaw is large and wide, use the SomnoFit-B device.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE DEVICE TO YOUR JAW

The adaptation of the trays to your teeth is done by thermoforming. The trays should be heated and softened in water at 80°C. Then simply bite into each of the trays. This procedure can be repeated 2 to 3 times if necessary.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT

Generally, a mandibular advancement of 4 to 7 mm is sufficient to reduce snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. The SomnoFit-S / -B device comes with 8 bands of different lengths. This allows for precise adjustment to ensure effectiveness and adaptation to the needs of each user.

CLEANING OF YOUR MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT DEVICE

For daily cleaning, we recommend using a denture cleaner. Simply soak the device in warm water (about 35°C) with a disinfecting tablet for at least half an hour. You can safely leave a dental device resting in this solution all day, but don't forget to rinse it under running water before putting it back in your mouth.
